Oddest Pub Of The Season PresentationOn Thursday 21st April, Trafford & Hulme branch descended on Chorlton's Oddest to present the Pub Of The Season Award for Spring 2011. It truly was Spring as sunshine spread across Chorlton on the eve of Good Friday, bringing out the locals to fill the bar and it's outside seating area to capacity.

Local MP John Leech was in attendance, along with local councillor Paul Ankers. Oddest is actually John Leech's local pub when at his Chorlton home, and he revealed that he's actually celebrated his 39th birthday at Oddest with friends.

Oddest BarThe Trafford & Hulme CAMRA Pub Of The Season for Spring 2011 is Oddest on Wilbraham Road, Chorlton.

Oddest is one component of a family of three bars, Oddest which opened in summer 2009, being the first outside Manchester city centre. As part of a group of independently-run bars (Odd & Odder being the others in owner Cleo Farman's portfolio), each with its own identity within an ethos of quality products, good service and recognised drinks, Oddest still stands out.

The Timperley Taverners Club on Park Road, Timperley has retained their title as Club of the Year 2011.  The Club will now go forward in to the Regional competition which will be announced later on this year.

Originally a tennis club in the 1960’s the current building on the site was built in 1981 to replace the wooden hut, by the Liberal Democrats as their Head Quarters for the area.  In 1985 a further extension was added to give a large function room.
