Well that was fun!!!

After a three year gap, it was great to see the grounds of St Clement’s packed with happy people enjoying the beer, the cider, the gin, the music and the sun! Attendance on all three days exceeded all expectations and you almost drank us out of beer – but not quite..

. and we extend a warm thank you to the around 90 volunteers gave up their time to make the festival happen – some of them working for months in advance – and we hope you agree they did a great job. With it being so busy on Saturday, volunteers on the gate and on the bars worked almost non-stop in sweltering heat for hours and hours on end to keep you supplied with drinks. And we must pay special thanks to the dozen or so who worked through until after midnight clearing the church hall ready for Sunday service and then came back to work all day Sunday to take down the Youth Centre and Cider bar and transport it all back to the CAMRA storage.

We would also like to say thanks to all our sponsers – Brightside Brewery, Blackjack Brewing Co, Thirst Class Ale, The Beer House, Fell Brewery and the Prairie Schooner Tap House – and the local businesses who sponsored a cask.

Also thank you to all who voted for your beer & cider of the festival, sponsored by The Font.
