Trafford and Hulme have voted the "Morley Cheeks", Barlow Moor Road, Chorlton-Cum-Hardy as the Summer Pub of the Season. Since taking over in mid 2016 the management team have improved the quality and choice of Real Ales and other beers. In addition real Cider is available.

To complement the beers a good range of food is served with the emphasis on chicken wings, ribs, burgers, hot-dogs and wraps

The Sip Club in Stretford recently celebrated their third birthday with a party night at the Barton Road bar. Trafford & Hulme branch took the opportunity to present them with the Certificates for their Cider Pub Of The Year award along with those for being runner Up in LocAle Pub Of The Year and Community Pub Of The Year. On Saturday the 16th April the Branch once again visited Flixton Conservative Club who were having an Easter Beer Festival to present them with the 2017 Club of The Year award. Sharon and John the Stewards have continued to offer a great selection of beers, brewerey evenings and other events, including a Cooperage demonstration Those visiting enjoyed a range of excellant beers, an Irish Band, and some even indulged in a game of Bingo.
