Manchester Metrolink's rapid & frequent service is ideal for visiting the many pubs & bars along its route. The expansion of the network taking place between 2011 & 2016 offers the ideal opportunity for days out exploring new areas.
The first of the "Big Bang" extension took the network to the real ale haven of Chorlton-cum-Hardy. To mark this expansion, Trafford & Hulme CAMRA published two short guides to visiting pubs along the two Metrolink lines which run through the branch - the line from the City Centre to Altrincham and the new South Manchester line to St Werburgh's Road via Chorlton.
Leaflets were available from tourist information centres and pubs across the branch. They have since all been snapped up, but uou can still view and print then from this website.
