The Beech is Back!

We are delighted to confirm the Trafford and Hulme Pub of the Season (Winter) is The Beech Inn, Chorlton Green.

A former “Good Beer Guide” regular, The Beech had fallen on hard times before the revival by Chris Clish. Since he took over 15 months ago the pub has seen a turnaround in terms of both beer quality and quantity. The pub is clean and welcoming with a real community spirit, demonstrated by the quirky Saturday afternoon craft stalls. The return of the live music has also attracted a sparkling range of participants and audience, with Mondays hosting Irish music, Wednesday the Folk Club and Cajun on the last Tuesday of the month.
The beer range has been expanding too, with the regulars from Timothy Taylor, Golden Best, Landlord and Bitter being joined by those from Copper Dragon such as Golden Pippen and Best Bitter. He has plans to introduce a further four handpumps to present new guest seasonal ales shortly. All this and real cider too!
