Trafford & Hulme branch includes almost 200 pubs, bars and clubs selling real ale. These range from traditional back street locals, multi-ale houses, modern bars & private members clubs.
Details of these pubs are available online at CAMRA's whatpub.com online guide.
If you visit a pub that doesn't have a full entry in our guide or where any of the information is out of date, we would encourage you to submit any details which we are missing. Use the "Submit updates" button on WhatPub.com or get in touch at inventory (at) thcamra.org.uk. Full survey forms are also available here.
Manchester Metrolink's rapid & frequent service is ideal for visiting the many pubs & bars along its route. The expansion of the network taking place between 2011 & 2016 offers the ideal opportunity for days out exploring new areas.
The first of the "Big Bang" extension took the network to the real ale haven of Chorlton-cum-Hardy. To mark this expansion, Trafford & Hulme CAMRA published two short guides to visiting pubs along the two Metrolink lines which run through the branch - the line from the City Centre to Altrincham and the new South Manchester line to St Werburgh's Road via Chorlton.
Leaflets were available from tourist information centres and pubs across the branch. They have since all been snapped up, but uou can still view and print then from this website.
